LCPG was established as a Non-Profit Organization to act as a catalyst for the creation, codification, and enshrinement in law of a development plan for the island of Little Cayman. This plan will reflect the original vision for the progress of the island contained in Appendix 2 of the 1977 and 1997 Cayman Islands Development Plans. The development plan will reflect the wishes and desires of the homeowners, residents, and members of the community of Little Cayman, recognising their rights as existing inhabitants to determine the future of their community.

 

Since this project is expected to take considerable time to come to fruition, we have a short term goal to prevent further planning approvals for large subdivisions by filing objections to planning applications for such subdivisions - using legal means to push back on permits for unsustainable and inappropriate development.

The LCPG is a Foundation Company, listed in the Companies Register of the Cayman Islands General Registry, and is a Registered Non-Profit (NP-680) listed in the Non-Profit Organisations Register.
